7p-7a (x3)
Rotates weekends and holidays
Position provides direct patient care in the maternity and newborn setting. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including; fetal monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Consults other departments as appropriate to provide for an interdisciplinary approach to patient's needs. Position requires knowledge of medications and correct administration, ability to perform head-to-toe assessment on patients, including newborns. Position requires ability to assist physicians with procedures in labor and delivery, postpartum and newborn nursery.
Current Kansas RN license, BCLS, fetal monitoring certification, and Neonatal Resuscitation certification required. One or more years of recent labor and delivery/newborn nursery preferred. Position requires candidates to demonstrate they are a motivated individual who can multi-task with good time management and organization skills. Good computer skills with excellent attention to detail. Qualified candidates are proven team players; quality focused and delivers a high level of customer service. Qualified candidates must exemplify the WNH "Standards of Performance".
