Labor & Delivery Manager
**Relocation Assistance & Sign-On Bonus***

Qualified candidate is responsible for direction of patient care in the maternity and newborn care setting. Staff members in the nursery, labor and delivery and postpartum units. Consults with staff, physicians and Director of Nursing on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital polices to ensure patient needs are met. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities. Assists in formulating budget.

Qualified candidate must have a valid Kansas RN license, active NRP, BCLS and fetal monitoring certifications. Must have three or more years experience in all aspects of maternity nursing. -2-3 years management experience preferred. Must demonstrate communication skills appropriate to physicians, staff, Chief Nursing Officer and Administrative Team. Maintains a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments. Good computer skills with excellent attention to detail. Qualified candidates are proven team players; quality focused and delivers a high level of customer service. Qualified candidates must exemplify WNH "Standards of Performance" and be in alignment with goals and objectives of the organization.
