Cath Lab Technologist
Monday - Thursday, 10 hour days, no call and no weekends.
Qualified candidate provides technical support and assistance to the physician during diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular and peripheral vascular procedures. Candidate performs scrub and hemodynamic monitoring duties with cardiac catheterizations, vascular and interventional radiology procedures using clinical knowledge, technical skills, and professional judgement in accordance with professional and departmental standards and protocols. Provides care assessment prior, during and post procedural instruction to patients. Prepares and maintains all pertinent information related to procedures.
Qualified candidate must have graduated from an approved school of radiologic technology. ARRT certification required, RCIS certification preferred. 2-3 years clinical experience in diagnostic and/or interventional cardiac cath lab required. Candidate must also have current BLS and ACLS certifications. Qualified candidates are proven team players; quality focused and delivers a high level of customer service. Qualified candidates must exemplify WNH "Standards of Performance".
