Position provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency room setting. Is able to triage safely, rapidly and accurately patients treated in the Emergency Department. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs. Communicates with the ED Physician about changes in patient's status and results of diagnostic studies. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient's condition and provide appropriate care.
Requires current Kansas RN licensure, ACLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC. One year previous nursing experience preferred. Position requires candidates to demonstrate they are a motivated individual who can multi-task with good time management and organization skills. Good computer skills with excellent attention to detail. Qualified candidates are proven team players; quality focused and delivers a high level of customer service. Qualified candidates must exemplify WNH "Standards of Performance".
