Intensive Care Unit RN
Full Time: 7a-7p & 7p-7a
Part Time: 7a-7p (x2) or 7p-7a
PRN: 7p-7a
Position is based in ICU but will float to all departments of the hospital on an as-needed basis. This includes ICU, Med/Surg, Labor & Delivery, and ER. All necessary training and orientation will be provided for each unit.
Qualified candidate must provide direct and indirect patient care in the critical care setting. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Participates in performance improvement and QI activities.
Qualified candidates should have a current Kansas RN license, ACLS, TNCC and PALS certification. One to two years' experience in critical care or three years of acute care in nursing.
Position requires candidates to demonstrate they are a motivated individual who can multi-task with good time management and organization skills. Good computer skills with excellent attention to detail. Qualified candidates are proven team players; quality focused and delivers a high level of customer service. Qualified candidates must exemplify WNH "Standards of Performance" and be in alignment with goals and objectives of the organization.
